I think wathever the magic whip touches should become something else. Then Gork can transform all Octos into apple pie and walk away.

What if the magic whip could wrap around air as though it were a conviently-placed substantial support? Beats trying to find tree branches or lamp posts! Gork could use it to swing through the air wherever he wanted. :)

yes! the whip whips onto an invisible tree like they said. then gork finds himself in a place that's all invisibly and he has to figure out what's going on. somehow connected to the monster that changed uncle golp.

IMPORTANT NEWS:

I'm getting married THIS Saturday, August 1. I'll be in Bermuda all next week so there will be NO GORK next week, but 2 GORK POSTS the following week: Monday Aug 10 and Thursday Aug 13! You guys did a great job building the story this week. It made drawing it really easy! Work off eachother's ideas and I'll see you on Monday August 10!

The moof's cheeks bulge and gork looks at him while being throttle, Suddenly he lets out a mighty belch and the octos (in shock) throw gork into the air. Then something else happens but i'll leave that to someone else.

Going along with what Anonymous said (on July 22), Gork should TOTALLY go all Indiana Jones and break out a whip and swing and/or run to safety while the octomonsters run after him (kinda like Indy and the boulder in The Raiders of the Lost Ark...) then have him swing over the Jelly Pool back to the Niffens.

Okay, Story Builders and Gorkamaniacs. This is Post#8 and I'd like to have a solid ending at post#10. This way I can collect these into an ashcan issue for the conventions. Just keep that in mind when sending comments. We can have some loose ends but we should get Gork back with the Niffens somehow.

I don't think Uncle G. should be transformed into a pet per-se. Maybe a kind of octopus creature (which communicates with signs).
